With one in six people living in poverty today, homelessness is not predictable or exclusive to a certain “type” of person – it could happen to anyone. According to the 2010 Census, the city of Dublin has a poverty rate of 34.2%, which exceeds the 22.6% average for Laurens County, the 14.3% State’s average, and 11.8% National average during that same time! Sometimes, life just doesn’t turn out the way we planned. There are many reasons why people find themselves in homeless situations.
